Position Summary/Objective:

The Member Services Representative works with various teams to provide a pleasant and professional on- boarding experience, while adhering to set policies and procedures. 

 

 Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

·         Member Onboarding: 

- Work with various internal teams to ensure member accounts are set up swiftly and efficiently 

- Work with vendors and internal teams to correctly map member account numbers

o   Confirm account numbers

o   Rebate inquires

·         Create and maintain rosters for our parent group and various affiliates 

·         Provide general data entry support across many teams on ad-hoc basis 

·         Additional responsibilities, as requested

 

Remote Work/Travel:  This position will work remotely from a home address and subject to AVB’s Remote Work policies and procedures which are then in effect.  In addition, from time to time, this position will be required to engage in travel, including travel to attend AVB’s Annual All-Employee Meeting as well as other travel obligations which may be required of the position such as meetings with members, attendance at conventions and shows and other events where you will represent AVB.  (Any requests for accommodations to required travel (including medical) should be addressed with Human Resources.)  

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Must effectively utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook         
  • Work well with others in a Team environment
  • Must be well organized
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Salesforce experience (not required but a plus)

 

Education and Experience:

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Minimum of one to two years of customer service experience

·         Length of time spent at each place of employment

 

Physical Requirements:

·         Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working on a computer / phone system
